Spirit of Harmony Poomsae Open 2025: A Resounding Success of Unity and Talent

Following the heartfelt celebration of Taekwondo unity at the Spirit of Harmony Poomsae Open 2025, the event proved to be more than just a competition—it was a vibrant showcase of local talent, perseverance, and community spirit.

A special thanks goes to Mr. Jack Durcan, whose pre-event seminar was nothing short of transformative. His guidance helped participants refine their poomsae, calm their nerves, and mentally prepare for the challenge ahead. His presence was a true asset to the event.

Gratitude also goes to Master Gianluca Barbara and the Iron Taekwondo League, as well as Master Neville Desira and the Birżebbuġa Taekwondo Club, for attending with their dedicated members. Their participation marked the success to this event and added depth and energy to it.

Ms. Anna Vassallo and the Malta Taekwondo Association played a pivotal role in supporting and guiding the setup of this event, ensuring everything ran smoothly and professionally.

With 34 passionate participants competing in both individual and pair Poomsae categories, the event was a beautiful display of determination and courage. Each performance was inspiring, reflecting the hard work and spirit of every athlete.

A heartfelt thank you to our judges—Master Jerome Vassallo, Master Jovo Mirkovic, and Master Jack Durcan—for their fair and expert evaluations throughout the day.

We also extend our appreciation to the parents and guardians who brought their children and stayed to cheer them on. Their support created an atmosphere filled with smiles, encouragement, and camaraderie.
