Strive Taekwondo Club Achieves Official Recognition and Educational Accreditation

Strive Taekwondo Club is proud to announce two major milestones in its journey of growth and excellence. The club is now officially recognised as a registered voluntary organisation under number VO/2592, and has also subscribed to the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) program in Malta under registration number SLC 11983.

Being registered as a voluntary organisation with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations means Strive Taekwondo Club operates with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to community service. This recognition enhances the club’s credibility and opens doors to potential funding, collaboration with other NGOs, and participation in national initiatives. It also reassures parents and members that the club adheres to ethical standards and good governance practices.

In addition, Strive Taekwondo Club’s inclusion in the School Leaving Certificate program is a significant step forward in aligning martial arts training with formal education. The SLC program, administered by the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes (DLAP), allows students to have their extracurricular achievements officially recorded and recognised by educational institutions. This means that students who train at Strive can now include their Taekwondo progress and accomplishments as part of their academic portfolio, which can be beneficial for future educational and career opportunities.

These recognitions reflect Strive’s dedication not only to martial arts excellence but also to holistic youth development. By integrating sport with education and community values, Strive Taekwondo Club continues to empower its members to grow as disciplined, confident, and socially responsible individuals.

For more information or to join the club, feel free to reach out or visit us during training hours. Together, we strive for greatness—on and off the mat.
