STC Celebrates Dan Success with Pride & UNITY

On Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, the Malta Taekwondo Association hosted its latest Dan Grading at the prestigious Salini Resort Hotel, under the expert supervision of Grandmaster Dr. Ali Reza Mohammadzadeh, a 9th Dan Black Belt and renowned poomsae authority.

This event marked a proud and first time milestone for Strive Taekwondo Club, as two of our dedicated members reached new heights in their martial arts journey:

  • Luke Chircop successfully attained his 3rd Dan, a testament to his years of discipline, perseverance, and technical mastery.

  • Kendra Magro achieved her 2nd Dan, showcasing her growing strength, precision, and unwavering energy.

Their accomplishments were met with heartfelt applause from teammates, coaches, and fellow martial artists.

A Celebration of Friendship and Unity

The grading was not only about individual achievement but also about the spirit of camaraderie that defines Taekwondo. Members, Czarek Odlanicki Poczobutt (ITL, 3rd Dan), Jean Schembri (ITL, 2nd Dan), Alycia Cassar (ITL, 1st Dan), Dan Desira (BTC, 2nd Dan), Luke Chircop (STC, 3rd Dan) and Kendra Magro (STC, 2nd Dan), from three clubs—Iron Taekwondo League, Birżebbuġa Taekwondo Club and our own Strive Taekwondo Club—came together, supporting one another and pushing each other to deliver their best performances.

The atmosphere was charged with energy, encouragement, and respect, as athletes demonstrated their skills under the watchful and attentive eyes of Grandmaster Dr. Reza. His guidance and keen observation ensured that every participant rose to the challenge with confidence and determination.

Gratitude to Malta Taekwondo Association

We extend our sincere thanks to the Malta Taekwondo Association for providing such a fine opportunity for our members to showcase their progress and dedication. The choice of Salini Resort Hotel as the venue added prestige to the event, creating a professional and inspiring environment for all participants.

Looking Ahead

At Strive Taekwondo Club, we are immensely proud of Luke, Kendra, and all grading participants who carried out their examinations with excellence. Their achievements reflect not only personal growth but also the collective strength of our Taekwondo community.

This grading was a reminder that Taekwondo is more than a sport—it is a journey of discipline, friendship, and unity. We look forward to many more milestones together, as our members continue to grow and inspire.
